FIND US IN STUDIO 4

The Creative Computing Studio is now Studio 4 and will be available for classes and use on Tuesdays and Wednesdays each week. The space is managed by lab staff, students and community contributors.

We have a diverse set of programming which supports Stanford students and instructors to explore new computing tools, learn from creative technologists across diverse fields, and build community at Stanford and beyond.

Types of events

  • A monthly gathering for design graduate students to socialize and experiment with new technologies. 

  • A workshop to be held in Design 11, Design I and Capstone class to introduce students to the CCS, tools they can use for class projects (and how to take them out), and other events and programming.

  • A workshop in the CCS (that builds on existing class guest lectures) to bring undergrad design students into the CCS and introduce to them to the space, new tools and programming.

  • A quarterly gathering for undergrad and graduate students to meet a working creative technologist.
